Professional Background

I am currently a student at the University of Utah pursuing a master's degree in the School of Computing's BS/MS program. This program makes it possible for students to receive both a bachelor's and a master's degree in five years. As a freshman, I was involved in the Engineering Scholars Program where outstanding freshman students in the College of Engineering tour research labs during fall semester. Then, the freshman students pick a lab that they are interested in and work in that lab during spring semester of their freshman year. I was interested in Dr. Chris Myers's lab, so I began working for him in Spring 2006.
